The ORTRONICS LM4-LC12J is a fiber optic cassette designed for structured cabling systems that require high-density MPO-to-LC connectivity. This M4-series cassette converts a single 12-fiber MPO connector (male pinned) on the rear to six LC duplex ports on the front, supporting OS2 single-mode fiber throughout. It is used in data centers, telecom rooms, and enterprise backbone installations where technicians need a clean, modular breakout solution inside a fiber distribution or patching enclosure.

This cassette is suited for single-mode OS2 backbone runs where 12 fibers need to be broken out to individual LC duplex circuits. Typical installations include horizontal or backbone cabling in commercial and enterprise environments. The MPO male (pinned) rear interface mates with standard MTP or MPO trunk cables, while the front LC duplex ports connect directly to active equipment or patch panels. Installation Notes
