The ORTRONICS KT2J6A-44 is a Cat6A keystone jack designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. This single-port insert terminates twisted-pair cabling to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth applications. The jack features a yellow color designation to aid port identification and cable management in patch panels and wall plates. Licensed low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary trade professionals who deploy this component during initial infrastructure builds or retrofit projects.
This keystone jack is suited for use in data centers, office environments, and any location requiring a reliable Cat6A termination point. It mounts into standard keystone-compatible patch panels, wall plates, and surface-mount boxes. The yellow color coding supports zone-based or application-based identification schemes commonly used in enterprise and campus cabling plants. It is sold as a single unit, making it practical for spot replacements as well as bulk installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation component for Cat6A keystone-compatible patch panels and wall plate assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any active equipment connected to the cabling path before terminating. Use a punch-down tool appropriate for the jack termination type and follow the wiring scheme consistently across the installation. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing to maintain Cat6A performance.
