The ORTRONICS KS6 is a Cat6 keystone jack sold in a kit of 25 units, designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network infrastructure. Each jack supports both T568A and T568B wiring configurations, giving installers the flexibility to terminate to either standard without stocking separate components. These modular inserts are built for use in patch panels, wall plates, surface-mount boxes, and keystone-compatible faceplates. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the typical installers. The KS6 is suited for deployments where consistent, standards-compliant Cat6 terminations are required across large port counts.
This kit is appropriate for new construction wiring, tenant improvement projects, data center structured cabling, and network closet buildouts. The 25-unit quantity makes it practical for mid-size runs where multiple drops need to be terminated efficiently. Compatible with standard keystone-style faceplates and patch panels, the KS6 fits into most common low-voltage mounting hardware already in use on the job.

Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or electricians qualified in structured wiring. De-energize any active patch panel circuits and disconnect active network equipment before terminating jacks. Use a 110-style punch-down tool for proper termination; avoid over-stripping cable jackets to minimize pair untwist at the termination point. Follow TIA-568 standards for bend radius and pair management throughout the run.
