The ORTRONICS KS6-36 is a Cat6 keystone jack sold in a kit of 25 units, wired to support both T568A and T568B termination standards. Designed for structured cabling installations, these jacks terminate horizontal Cat6 copper runs at wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors use this jack in commercial and residential data cabling projects where consistent Cat6 performance and dual-standard wiring flexibility are required. The T568A/T568B dual compatibility makes the KS6-36 suitable for mixed environments and new construction alike.
The KS6-36 kit is suited for data network installations in office buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and residential structured wiring applications. These keystones fit standard keystone-style wall plates and patch panel faceplates, making them a straightforward choice for installers running Cat6 horizontal cabling to workstation outlets and consolidation points. Each jack in the kit provides a single Cat6 port termination, and the kit of 25 units supports efficient deployment across multiple drops in a single installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit keystone jack for use with Cat6 structured cabling systems in standard keystone-compatible wall plates, surface-mount boxes, and patch panel faceplates.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or electricians qualified in structured wiring. Terminate each jack using a 110-style punch-down tool, following the T568A or T568B wiring diagram printed on the jack body. Ensure the horizontal cable run is de-energized and all patch cords are disconnected before terminating. Follow TIA-568 and local building codes for cable routing, bend radius, and labeling requirements.
