The ORTRONICS KS14ST-88 is a keystone-format 1/4 inch stereo jack module designed for structured wiring installations where audio connectivity is required at the wall plate or patch panel level. The module accepts a standard 1/4 inch TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) plug and snaps into any keystone-compatible faceplate or surface-mount housing. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install this module to provide a clean, permanent audio termination point in commercial AV systems, stage installations, recording environments, and multipurpose facility wiring runs.
This module is suited for commercial and light-industrial audio distribution applications where 1/4 inch stereo connections are needed at fixed wall or rack locations. Typical use cases include stage floor boxes, AV rack faceplates, rehearsal room wall plates, and broadcast facility patch points. The keystone snap-in format integrates with standard modular faceplate systems, allowing mixed-media configurations alongside data, coax, and other keystone inserts. It is sold as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style insert for standard keystone-compatible faceplates, surface-mount boxes, and patch panels used in commercial audio-visual and low-voltage wiring systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician in accordance with local codes and NEC Article 640 for audio signal wiring. Power down or de-energize any connected audio equipment before inserting or removing the module. The keystone insert snaps into a standard keystone port without tools. Verify the faceplate or housing accepts standard keystone modules before ordering.
