The ORTRONICS HDJPCT-4PK is a four-pack of plastic crimp tools designed for use with HDJ-series keystone jack connectors and inserts. These tools provide the mechanical force needed to terminate twisted-pair conductors into low-voltage data and voice connectors during structured cabling installations. Sold as a set of four, the HDJPCT-4PK is well suited for crew-level deployments where multiple technicians are working the same job simultaneously, reducing downtime waiting for a single tool to rotate between workers.
This tool pack is intended for use in commercial and residential low-voltage structured cabling work. Typical applications include terminating CAT5e, CAT6, or similar twisted-pair cable into keystone-style jacks and modular inserts during patch panel builds, wall plate installations, and telecom closet work. Low-voltage cabling technicians and data communications installers are the primary users of this product.
Designed for use with ORTRONICS HDJ-series keystone jack connectors and configurable inserts. Consult the ORTRONICS product documentation to confirm fit with specific connector generations before use.
Installation of keystone jack connectors should be performed by qualified low-voltage cabling technicians following applicable codes, including TIA-568 standards for structured cabling. De-energize any active circuits in the work area before terminating conductors. Inspect the crimp tool for cracks or deformation before each use, as a damaged plastic tool body may result in improper termination seating. Do not use this tool to terminate connector types outside its intended HDJ-series application.
