The ORTRONICS HDJ6A-36 is a Cat6A keystone jack designed for high-density structured cabling installations. It supports both T568A and T568B wiring configurations, giving installers flexibility across different network environments. Finished in blue for easy port identification and color-coded patch panel management, this jack is suited for terminating horizontal cable runs in commercial and enterprise-grade network infrastructure. Licensed low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary users of this component.
This jack is intended for use in commercial office builds, data centers, healthcare facilities, schools, and other environments requiring Cat6A performance. It fits into standard keystone-style wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount housings. The T568A/T568B dual-wiring compatibility makes it appropriate for both government and private-sector cabling standards. Its blue color designation supports organized, color-coded port management across large patch fields.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation component for Cat6A keystone-compatible wall plates, surface-mount boxes, and patch panel inserts in standard keystone form factor housings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 cabling standards. De-energize and disconnect any active network equipment before terminating cable runs at the jack. Use a 110-style punch-down tool appropriate for Cat6A terminations to seat conductors fully and ensure consistent performance. Avoid untwisting cable pairs beyond the minimum required for termination to maintain Cat6A crosstalk and return loss characteristics.
