The ORTRONICS HDJ625-45 is a Category 6 high-density keystone jack from the Clarity series, designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. This jack terminates twisted-pair copper cabling to deliver reliable Ethernet connectivity at Cat6 performance levels. Sold in a pack of 25 units, it is well suited for panel builds, office retrofits, and new construction where multiple ports are installed in a single work session. Licensed low-voltage technicians and data cabling professionals are the primary installers of this component.
The HDJ625-45 is used in horizontal cabling runs that terminate at patch panels, surface-mount boxes, or keystone wall plates. Its high-density form factor makes it practical for telecom rooms and equipment closets where port density is a priority. The green color coding supports port identification and zone management on large patch panels or multi-tenant installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit component for Cat6 structured cabling systems using keystone-style patch panels, wall plates, and surface-mount boxes.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician following TIA-568 cabling standards. Terminate conductors using a 110-style punch-down tool, ensuring proper pair management to maintain Cat6 channel performance. Avoid untwisting pairs more than is necessary at the termination point, as excessive untwisting degrades crosstalk performance. Verify channel continuity and performance with a Cat6-rated cable tester after termination.
