The OREGON TOOL 40092 is a universal-mix, 2-cycle engine oil formulated for air-cooled small engines used across a wide range of outdoor power equipment. Each pouch contains 1.8 oz of concentrate, mixing with 1 gallon of gasoline to replace fixed-ratio mixes including 16:1, 32:1, 40:1, and others. The formula is designed to reduce particulate emissions and oil consumption by at least 50 percent compared to conventional 2-cycle oils, and it meets California Proposition 65 guidelines. This is a low-smoke formulation intended for technicians and service professionals who maintain or repair 2-cycle powered equipment.
This oil is suited for residential and commercial small-engine applications including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and similar air-cooled 2-cycle equipment. It is compatible with gasohol blends, making it a practical choice for fleets or regions where ethanol-blended fuel is common. Pouches are packaged in poly construction and are supplied in an impulse display carton of 48 individual 1.8 oz units, making them convenient for counter display in service shops or dealerships.
Designed for use in all air-cooled 2-cycle engines requiring a pre-mix oil-and-gasoline fuel blend, including those found in chainsaws, string trimmers, blowers, and similar outdoor power equipment.
This oil is mixed directly into gasoline before filling the equipment fuel tank — never add oil and fuel separately to the tank. Small-engine technicians should mix only the quantity needed for current use, as pre-mixed fuel can degrade over time. Always consult the equipment manufacturer's recommendations for mix ratio if deviating from the universal mix default. Dispose of empty pouches in accordance with local regulations.
