The ORBIT INDUSTRIES OF7610 is a steel EMT compression connector designed to bond electrical metallic tubing conduit to junction boxes and enclosures. Built from steel for mechanical protection and durability, this compression-type fitting creates a secure, vibration-resistant connection between the conduit end and the knockout opening of a box or enclosure. At a 4-inch trade size, it accommodates large-diameter EMT runs common in commercial and industrial wiring installations. Electricians and electrical contractors rely on this style of connector where a reliable mechanical bond is required between the conduit system and the termination enclosure.
This connector is intended for use with 4-inch trade size EMT conduit in electrical installations requiring a conduit-to-enclosure termination. Typical applications include large commercial panel feeds, junction box connections, and industrial enclosure terminations where EMT is the specified raceway. The compression design provides a tight fit without set screws, making it suitable for environments where vibration or movement could loosen a standard set-screw type fitting.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with 4-inch trade size EMT conduit terminated at electrical junction boxes or enclosures.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for EMT conduit systems. De-energize all circuits in the affected enclosure before beginning work. Slide the compression nut onto the conduit end, insert the conduit into the connector body, and tighten the compression nut to seat the fitting securely against the conduit. Verify the connector is properly secured to the enclosure knockout and that continuity of the equipment grounding path is maintained through the connection.
