The ORBIT INDUSTRIES NMLT90-50 is a 90-degree non-metallic liquid tight connector in 1/2 inch trade size, designed for use in electrical conduit installations where corrosion resistance and flexibility are priorities. Constructed from gray PVC plastic, this connector is suited for both wet and dry locations where conduit and fittings will not be subjected to physical damage. Each unit ships with a neoprene O-ring and locknut included. Electricians install this fitting to terminate liquid tight flexible non-metallic conduit runs in environments with exposure to moisture, weather, or temperature swings.
This connector is appropriate for residential and light commercial electrical applications where liquid tight flexible non-metallic conduit transitions to a junction box, enclosure, or panel knockout. Its PVC construction makes it a practical choice in outdoor, damp, or corrosive environments such as HVAC equipment connections, exterior lighting runs, and wet location panel feeds. The 90-degree angle body reduces bend stress on the conduit at the termination point, making it useful in tight or congested wiring spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 1/2 inch trade size liquid tight flexible non-metallic conduit systems in wet and dry location electrical applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician following applicable NEC requirements for liquid tight fittings in wet or damp locations. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning conduit termination work. Hand-tighten the locknut securely against the enclosure wall to ensure a proper seal; do not overtighten PVC fittings with excessive mechanical force, as cracking can occur. Verify the neoprene O-ring is seated correctly before final tightening to maintain the liquid tight rating of the assembly.
