The ORBIT INDUSTRIES MLTI90-75 is a malleable iron, 90-degree insulated liquidtight connector designed for use on flexible metallic and Type B flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit systems. The insulated throat protects conductors from abrasion at the entry point. This connector bonds conduit to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations, making it a standard fitting for electrical installations where moisture exposure is a concern. Licensed electricians install these connectors in commercial and industrial applications where code-compliant liquidtight terminations are required. The 3/4-inch trade size fits the most common conduit diameter used in light commercial and residential electrical work.
This connector is suited for wet and damp location applications including outdoor enclosures, mechanical rooms, rooftop equipment, and any installation requiring a liquidtight seal at the conduit termination point. The slip-on design grips the conduit jacket on contact, reducing installation time. All connector components are designed to be disassembled and reused, which is useful during phased or retrofit installations. When terminated in threadless openings, the included sealing washers maintain a liquidtight seal without additional hardware.
Designed for use with flexible metallic liquidtight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit at 3/4-inch trade size, terminating into standard knockout openings on boxes and enclosures.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for liquidtight fittings in wet and damp locations. De-energize all circuits before working on any enclosure or conduit termination. Ensure the locknut is tightened securely to maintain grounding continuity across the fitting. When installing into threadless openings, confirm the sealing washer is seated correctly before tightening to achieve a proper liquidtight seal.
