The ORBIT INDUSTRIES MLTI90-50 is a malleable iron, 90-degree liquidtight conduit connector with an insulated throat, sized for 1/2-inch trade size flexible metallic or Type B flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit. It bonds conduit to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations with a slip-on design that grips the conduit jacket for a strong, liquidtight seal. The insulated throat protects wire insulation from abrasion at the point of entry. A heavy-duty locknut is included with every connector to maintain grounding continuity. All components can be disassembled and reused, making this connector a practical choice for licensed electricians on commercial and residential installations.
This connector is rated for use in both wet and damp locations, making it well suited for industrial panels, mechanical rooms, outdoor enclosures, and any application where flexible metallic or non-metallic liquidtight conduit terminates at a box or enclosure. When terminating in threadless knockouts, the included sealing washers deliver a liquidtight seal at the opening. The zinc electroplated finish provides corrosion resistance for installations in damp or humid environments.
Designed for use with flexible metallic liquidtight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit at 1/2-inch trade size. Suitable for bonding conduit to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp location applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for liquidtight flexible conduit fittings. De-energize all circuits before working in the enclosure or panel. Ensure the locknut is tightened securely against the enclosure wall to maintain grounding continuity. Use the included sealing washer when terminating in a threadless knockout to achieve a proper liquidtight seal.
