The ORBIT INDUSTRIES MLTI90-125 is a malleable iron, 90-degree insulated liquid tight connector designed for use on flexible metallic liquid tight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquid tight conduit. It bonds conduit to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations, delivering a reliable, liquid-tight seal with an insulated throat that protects conductors at the entry point. The slip-on design grips the conduit jacket firmly, reducing installation time and minimizing the risk of pullout. A heavy-duty locknut is included to maintain grounding continuity, and zinc electroplating provides corrosion protection in damp environments.
This connector is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where conduit must terminate at enclosures, junction boxes, or control panels in wet or damp rated locations. The 1-1/4 inch trade size fits standard 1-1/4 inch liquid tight conduit. All connector components are designed to be disassembled and reused, making it practical for service work and retrofit jobs. When terminating into threadless openings, the included sealing washers maintain a liquid-tight seal at the entry point.
Compatible with flexible metallic liquid tight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquid tight conduit in 1-1/4 inch trade size. Suitable for wet and damp location installations per NEC requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before beginning work on any conduit termination or enclosure entry. Ensure the knockout or opening size matches the 1-1/4 inch trade size before installing; use the included locknut to secure the connector and maintain grounding continuity. When terminating in threadless openings, install the included sealing washer to maintain the liquid-tight rating.
