The ORBIT INDUSTRIES MLTI90-100 is a malleable iron, insulated-throat, 90-degree liquidtight connector designed for use on flexible metallic liquidtight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit. It bonds conduit to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations, providing a reliable, code-ready termination. The slip-on design grips the conduit jacket quickly, reducing installation time while delivering a strong seal that resists pullouts. Zinc electroplating on all components provides corrosion protection in damp environments. The connector ships with sealing washers for threadless openings and a heavy-duty locknut that maintains grounding continuity throughout the assembly.
This connector is suited for commercial and industrial wiring applications where flexible liquidtight conduit must terminate at enclosures, junction boxes, motor connection boxes, or equipment panels in wet or damp locations. The 90-degree angle body is particularly useful in tight spaces where a straight connector would create excessive conduit bending. All components can be disassembled and reused, making this connector a practical choice for retrofit and maintenance work performed by licensed electricians.
Designed for use with 1-inch trade size flexible metallic liquidtight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit, for termination at boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for liquidtight flexible conduit fittings. De-energize the circuit and verify power is off before beginning conduit termination work. Ensure the knockout or opening is clean and properly sized for 1-inch trade size before seating the connector and tightening the locknut. Do not overtighten the locknut, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive force.
