The ORBIT INDUSTRIES MLTI-125 is a malleable iron, straight liquidtight connector with an insulated throat, designed for use with flexible metallic liquidtight conduit and Type B flexible nonmetallic liquidtight conduit. Rated for 1-1/4 inch trade size, this connector bonds conduit to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations. The slip-on design grips the conduit jacket quickly, reducing installation time while maintaining a firm, liquidtight seal that resists pullout. All components are fully disassemblable and reusable. Licensed electricians and experienced maintenance trades install this connector as part of conduit termination work in industrial, commercial, and residential enclosures.
This connector is suited for wet and damp location installations where flexible metallic or nonmetallic liquidtight conduit must terminate at a box, panel, or enclosure. The insulated throat protects conductor insulation at the point of entry. Included sealing washers provide a liquidtight seal when terminated in threadless openings, and the heavy-duty locknut included with every unit maintains grounding continuity. Zinc electroplating provides corrosion resistance in damp environments, making this connector appropriate for outdoor panels, pump controls, HVAC equipment connections, and similar exposed or moisture-prone applications.
Designed for use with flexible metallic liquidtight conduit and Type B flexible nonmetallic liquidtight conduit at 1-1/4 inch trade size, for termination to boxes or enclosures in wet and damp locations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits and verify zero voltage before beginning conduit termination work. Slip the connector onto the conduit end, seat the sealing washer if terminating in a threadless opening, and secure with the included locknut to maintain grounding continuity. Do not overtighten the locknut by means of impact tools, as this may damage the malleable iron body or compromise the liquidtight seal.
