The ORBIT INDUSTRIES LB-125 is an LB-type threaded conduit body designed for use with rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems. It provides a direction change in conduit runs without requiring large-radius bends, making it a practical solution for electrical service entrance installations and pull-point applications. At 1-1/4 inches trade size, this conduit body offers ample wire capacity for routing conductors through changes in direction. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting during commercial and residential rough-in work where conduit routing must navigate walls, ceilings, or structural obstructions.
The LB-125 is suited for both residential service entrance applications and commercial electrical distribution systems where threaded RMC or IMC conduit is the raceway of choice. The LB configuration allows conduit to enter from the back and exit from the bottom, making it well-suited for transitioning conduit runs from vertical to horizontal or for entering enclosures and panels. It functions as an economical convenience box when additional wire-pulling capacity is needed along a conduit run.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with 1-1/4 inch trade size threaded rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) raceway systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before pulling or terminating conductors. Thread conduit hubs fully and apply listed thread sealant or conduit wrench tightening as required by the installation environment. This conduit body is supplied without a cover; a compatible cover and gasket must be installed to maintain conduit system integrity and code compliance.
