The ORBIT INDUSTRIES EEL30-350 is a 30-degree EMT conduit elbow manufactured from prime EMT conduit stock in compliance with ANSI C80.3 and UL 797 standards. Built for use in electrical metallic tubing raceway systems, this elbow allows installers to redirect conduit runs at a 30-degree angle without field bending. The interior and exterior surfaces are free from defects and feature a smooth welded seam. A hot-dip galvanizing process applies a thorough, even zinc coating to both surfaces, providing corrosion resistance suited to the demands of commercial and industrial wiring installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This elbow is used in EMT conduit systems requiring a 30-degree directional change in the raceway path. At a 3-1/2 inch trade size, it is commonly installed in larger commercial, industrial, and light institutional electrical distribution systems where heavier conduit fills and larger conductor bundles are routed through exposed or concealed raceways. It is produced to normal trade size standards, making it compatible with standard 3-1/2 inch EMT conduit and fittings from common manufacturers.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with standard 3-1/2 inch trade size EMT conduit systems installed per ANSI C80.3 and UL 797 specifications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits in the affected raceway before beginning work on any conduit system. Ensure all conduit connections and fittings are properly secured and that the raceway is continuous and mechanically sound before pulling conductors. Avoid exceeding the conduit fill limits specified in NEC Chapter 9 tables for the trade size in use.
