This cable is designed for building backbone runs where 62.5 micron OM1 multimode fiber is specified or already in use. Its indoor/outdoor dual rating means a single continuous cable can transition from an exterior entry point into a riser pathway without requiring a splice or transition enclosure at the building entry. Typical applications include inter-floor backbone links, campus building entries, and riser distribution runs in commercial and institutional facilities.

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or structured cabling technician in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) Article 770 governing optical fiber cables. Observe the manufacturer minimum bend radius during pulling and routing to avoid microbend losses. Do not exceed the rated tensile load during pulls through conduit or cable trays.
