Designed for structured cabling installations, this panel provides a central termination and cross-connect point for horizontal cabling runs in data centers, server rooms, and commercial network closets. The Cat6A rating supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet applications up to 328 feet. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors install this panel as a core component of organized, high-performance copper cabling infrastructure.
The DCC4888/1106AN is suited for enterprise LAN environments, data centers, and commercial structured cabling deployments requiring 10GbE-capable copper connectivity. The non-staggered 48-port layout provides a uniform port arrangement across the 2U panel face, simplifying cable management and labeling in high-density rack installations. It is sold individually as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style structured cabling component compatible with standard 19-inch EIA equipment racks and enclosures accepting 2U rackmount patch panels.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling contractors or qualified network technicians in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down or disconnect active network equipment connected to cabling runs before terminating conductors at the panel. Use a 110-type punch-down tool for proper conductor termination and follow the wiring scheme consistently across all ports. Verify rack unit spacing and cable management hardware clearance before mounting the panel in the enclosure.
