The OPTEX AX-200TFR is an active infrared photobeam detector designed for perimeter security and access detection applications. It establishes an invisible infrared beam between a transmitter and receiver unit, triggering an alarm output when the beam is interrupted. Rated IP55 for dust and water ingress protection, this unit is suitable for outdoor installation where exposure to weather is a factor. Licensed security and low-voltage technicians are the primary installers for this type of device. The AX-200TFR supports a detection range of 200 feet outdoors and up to 400 feet in indoor environments.

This photobeam detector is used in commercial and residential perimeter security systems, gate and door access detection, and building perimeter protection.
