The ONSRUD 56-655 is a 2-flute, square end, double edge solid carbide router bit designed for high-speed CNC and handheld routing operations on a wide range of thermoplastic materials. With a 0.5-inch cutter diameter, a 2.125-inch length of cut, and a 6-inch overall length, it delivers clean, square-bottom profiles in a single pass. The straight flute geometry and right-hand cutting direction suit standard spindle rotation without modification. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed when running abrasive engineering plastics at production feed rates.

This bit is built for production and fabrication shops routing thermoplastics including ABS, acrylic, HDPE, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polystyrene, UHMW, acetal, HIPS, polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC. It fits routing fixtures, CNC routers, and router tables where a 0.5-inch shank collet is in use. The double edge style extends usable tool life in continuous-run applications. Installation Notes
