The OLD WORLD AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCT FPRB53 is a 1-gallon, 50/50 prediluted antifreeze and coolant formulated for heavy-duty engine cooling systems. It uses a stabilized Phosphate enhanced Organic Acid Technology (POAT) corrosion inhibitor system that delivers fast-acting, long-lasting protection to all cooling system metals, including Controlled Atmosphere Brazed (CAB) aluminum components and cast aluminum parts. Scale-fighting inhibitors help prevent deposit buildup to maintain efficient heat transfer. This formula is free of nitrite and 2-ethylhexanoic acid and is compatible with all cooling system gaskets and hose materials. Fleet mechanics, diesel technicians, and heavy equipment service professionals are the primary installers.
This coolant is intended for use in heavy-duty diesel and gasoline engines found in commercial trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment. The 50/50 prediluted formula is ready to use straight from the container with no mixing required. With proper maintenance intervals, it provides guaranteed cooling system protection for 1.5 million miles, 10 years, or 36,000 hours, whichever comes first, without the need for Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCAs). It is sold in cases of 6 units, each containing 1 gallon.
Designed for heavy-duty engine cooling systems where a POAT-based, nitrite-free, SCA-free antifreeze and coolant is specified. Compatible with all cooling system gaskets and hose materials as stated by the manufacturer.
Service should be performed by a qualified diesel technician or fleet mechanic following the engine manufacturer's coolant service procedures. Always allow the engine to cool completely and relieve any system pressure before opening the cooling system. Dispose of used coolant in accordance with local environmental regulations. Verify the cooling system is flushed clean before adding fresh coolant to avoid contamination of the new charge.
