The OLD CASTLE V-804 is a 4-inch straight tee fitting manufactured from molded PVC to SDR 35 standards. It is designed for gravity-flow sewer and drainage piping systems, providing a three-way hub connection in a straight tee configuration. All three ports are hub type, accepting 4-inch pipe on each inlet and outlet. The molded PVC construction delivers resistance to corrosion, root intrusion, and chemical attack common in below-grade drain and sewer applications. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers and underground utility contractors working on residential and commercial drainage systems.
The V-804 is suited for gravity-drain and sanitary sewer pipelines operating at the SDR 35 pressure class. It is appropriate for use in residential sewer laterals, commercial site drainage, and municipal collection system connections where a straight-run branch is required. The hub-by-hub-by-hub connection accepts solvent-welded or gasketed PVC pipe depending on project specifications. All three ports are 4 inches, making this a fully symmetrical tee for branch configurations that maintain consistent pipe diameter throughout.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 4-inch SDR 35 PVC gravity sewer and drainage piping systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or underground utility contractors following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off flow and ensure the line is depressurized and drained before cutting into an existing run. For solvent-weld joints, use a PVC primer and cement rated for the pipe schedule and service conditions. Inspect hub sockets for damage or debris before assembly to ensure a leak-free joint.
