The OETIKER 15500026-100 is a single-ear stepless clamp designed to provide a permanent, vibration-resistant seal on hose and tubing connections. It is manufactured from stainless steel with a band width of 7 mm and a wall thickness of 0.6 mm. The ear design allows the clamp to be pinched with a standard ear-clamp tool, cold-forming the ear closed and locking the clamp diameter without sharp edges. This clamp is sized for a nominal 1-5/8 inch application with a clamping range of 37.90 mm to 41.00 mm. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and automotive cooling system installers commonly use this style of clamp where a low-profile, tamper-resistant connection is required.
