The OETIKER 15300027-100 is a 1-ear stepless clamp designed for secure, permanent hose and tubing connections in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-transfer applications. Manufactured from stainless steel, this clamp delivers consistent clamping force around the full circumference of the hose when the ear is crimped with a pincer tool. The 0.295-inch band width and 0.039-inch material thickness provide a low-profile, lightweight connection point that resists corrosion in wet and humid environments. It is used by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters requiring a tamper-resistant, single-use clamp where reliability over the long service life of the assembly is critical.
This 1-ear clamp is suited for residential and light commercial applications including PEX tubing connections, radiant heating loops, refrigerant-side tubing assemblies, and flexible hose terminations. It fits hoses and tubes with an outside diameter falling within a clamping range of 13.80 mm to 16.00 mm, which corresponds to the nominal 5/8-inch size designation. Installers working with push-fit or barbed fittings on PEX, rubber, or silicone hose will find this clamp a direct fit for standard connection points in those systems.
Designed for use with nominal 5/8-inch hoses and tubing within a clamping range of 13.80 mm to 16.00 mm outside diameter, including PEX, rubber, and silicone hose assemblies on barbed or bead-ring fittings.
Installation requires an ear-type clamp pincer or specialty crimping tool to deform the ear and lock the clamp in place. Power down or depressurize any system before disconnecting or reconnecting hose assemblies. These clamps are single-use and should not be re-opened or reused after crimping. Work performed on potable water or gas-associated tubing should comply with applicable local plumbing codes and standards.
