The OETIKER 15300006-100 is a single-ear stepless clamp designed for secure, permanent connections on hoses, tubing, and fluid-line assemblies. The ear-style closure is cold-formed during installation, creating a uniform 360-degree compression that eliminates the leak paths common with screw-type clamps. With a nominal size of 9/32 inch, a band width of 0.197 inches, and a band thickness of 0.020 inches, this clamp suits small-diameter tubing applications where precise clamping force is required. Manufactured from stainless steel, it resists corrosion in both wet and chemically exposed service environments. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and automotive or industrial assembly crews use this type of clamp in production and field-service settings.
This clamp is suited for small-bore hose and tubing connections in residential and light commercial applications. Typical uses include refrigerant line insulation sleeves, PEX tubing fittings, coolant hoses, and other fluid-handling assemblies where a low-profile, tamper-resistant closure is specified. The clamping range of 6.10 mm to 7.00 mm (approximately 0.240 inches to 0.276 inches) targets tubing in that outside-diameter band. This part is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
Designed for small-bore hose and tubing connections falling within a clamping range of 6.10 mm to 7.00 mm outside diameter, consistent with 9/32 inch nominal single-ear clamp applications.
Single-ear clamps require a dedicated ear-clamp pincer tool to cold-form the ear and achieve rated clamping force — do not substitute with pliers or generic crimpers. Shut off fluid flow and relieve any system pressure before fitting or removing clamps on live lines. Follow applicable plumbing or HVAC codes, including IPC and IFGC guidelines, for the specific assembly being serviced. Once the ear is crimped, the clamp is permanent and must be cut off for removal.
