The OETIKER 15100018-100 is a 2-ear stepless clamp designed for secure, permanent hose and tubing connections in plumbing, HVAC, automotive, and fluid-handling applications. Manufactured from stainless steel, it delivers corrosion resistance and reliable clamping force across a wide range of service environments. The clamp features a 10 mm band width, 1 mm band thickness, and a clamping range of 29.30 mm to 34.00 mm, making it suited for nominal 1-5/16 inch connections. Installation requires a dedicated ear-clamp pincer tool that cold-forms the ears without cutting or damaging the hose. Licensed tradespeople and experienced technicians in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration routinely specify this style of clamp where a tamper-evident, vibration-resistant joint is required.
The OETIKER 15100018-100 is used in residential and light commercial installations where hose-to-barb or tubing-to-fitting joints must hold pressure reliably over the service life of the system. Common applications include PEX tubing connections, coolant hose assemblies, fuel line terminations, and condensate drain fittings. The stepless ear design eliminates the pinch points associated with worm-gear clamps, reducing the risk of hose damage during and after installation. This clamp is packaged individually and is available for purchase in single-unit quantities.
Designed for use with nominal 1-5/16 inch hose and tubing barb fittings where a permanent, stepless ear clamp is specified. Consult hose and fitting manufacturer tolerances to confirm the outside diameter falls within the 29.30 mm to 34.00 mm clamping range before installation.
Installation requires a dedicated OETIKER-style ear-clamp pincer tool; standard pliers will not form the ear consistently and may result in an incomplete seal. Shut off fluid supply and depressurize the line before removing any existing clamp or fitting. Slide the clamp onto the hose before seating the hose onto the barb, then position the ear over the barb bead and form with the pincer tool in a single controlled squeeze. Inspect the formed ear visually to confirm full closure before returning the system to service.
