The OETIKER 10500355-100 is a single-ear stepless clamp used to create a secure, permanent connection on hose assemblies, boots, and flexible tubing. The clamp closes by crimping the raised ear with a pincer tool, applying uniform radial pressure around the entire circumference. It is manufactured from carbon steel with a zinc-plated head coating for corrosion resistance. The band measures 7.00 mm wide and 0.75 mm thick, with a clamping range of 55.90 mm to 59.00 mm. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and automotive service professionals install this clamp on coolant hoses, refrigerant line covers, and other push-on connections where vibration-resistant, tamper-evident fastening is required.
This 1-ear clamp is suited for residential and light commercial applications where flexible hose or tubing must be clamped to a barbed or grooved fitting. Common install scenarios include PEX tubing connections, dryer duct collar seals, flexible coolant hose assemblies, and CV axle boot retention. The 2-5/16 inch nominal size fits tubing in the 55.90 mm to 59.00 mm outside diameter range. Because the ear is deformed permanently during installation, this clamp is intended for single-use applications where re-opening the joint is not required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation clamp for flexible hose and tubing with an outside diameter falling within the 55.90 mm to 59.00 mm clamping range, corresponding to a 2-5/16 inch nominal size.
Installation requires a dedicated ear-clamp pincer or crimping tool sized for 1-ear stepless clamps. Depressurize or drain any fluid circuit before disturbing existing clamps. Once crimped, the ear cannot be reopened without cutting the clamp, so confirm hose seating and alignment before closing. Follow applicable plumbing or mechanical codes, such as IPC or IFGC, for hose-connection requirements in the specific system being serviced.
