The OETIKER 10100030-100 is a 2-ear stepless clamp designed for secure, permanent hose and tubing connections in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-handling applications. Manufactured from carbon steel with a zinc-plated head coating, this clamp delivers corrosion resistance and consistent clamping force. The band measures 9.00 mm (approximately 0.354 inches) wide and 1.50 mm thick, providing the structural rigidity needed for leak-free joints under pressure. The 2-ear design allows the clamp to be crimped with standard ear-clamp pincer tools, producing a uniform 360-degree seal around the hose or fitting.
This clamp is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a permanent, tamper-resistant connection is required. Typical uses include PEX tubing connections, coolant hose assemblies, vacuum line terminations, and low-pressure fluid fittings. The 7/8 inch nominal size and clamping range of 19.00 mm to 23.00 mm make it appropriate for hoses and fittings that fall within that outside-diameter window. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration mechanics commonly specify 2-ear clamps where reusable clamps are not acceptable by code or installation standard.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation clamp for hoses and tubing with an outside diameter falling within the 19.00 mm to 23.00 mm clamping range, typical of 7/8 inch nominal fittings used in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-system assemblies.
Installation requires a calibrated 2-ear pincer crimping tool sized for the ear width of this clamp. Power down or depressurize the system completely before removing any existing clamp or hose connection. Position the clamp over the hose end before seating the hose on the fitting, then slide the clamp to the recommended set-back position and crimp both ears in a single, smooth press. Do not attempt to re-use a crimped 2-ear clamp once it has been compressed.
