The OATEY COMPANY 31014 is a 16 oz clear, regular-body PVC pipe cement formulated for solvent-welding PVC pipe and fittings in a wide range of trade applications. It bonds PVC pipe up to 4 inches in diameter for Schedule 40 systems and up to 2 inches for Schedule 80 systems. The clear formula leaves a clean, low-visibility joint and meets performance requirements that exceed ASTM D-2564. It carries NSF certification, making it suitable for potable water, drain, waste, and vent systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and licensed contractors are the primary installers of this product.

This cement is used in residential and commercial plumbing, drainage, irrigation, electrical conduit, gas piping, and DWV systems where PVC is the specified material. It is appropriate for Schedule 40 PVC fittings up to 4 inches and Schedule 80 PVC fittings up to 2 inches.
