The OATEY COMPANY 30916 is a black, medium-bodied ABS pipe cement formulated for solvent-welding ABS plastic pipe and fittings in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Supplied in a 4 oz can, it delivers a fast, reliable chemical bond on ABS substrates up to 6 inches in diameter. The medium body is suited for standard-clearance joints where a heavier cement is not required. Performance exceeds ASTM D-2235 and the product carries NSF certification, making it appropriate for installations subject to code inspection.
