The OATEY COMPANY 30890 is a blue, medium-bodied PVC pipe cement sold under the Rain-R-Shine product line. It is formulated for solvent-welding PVC pipe and fittings in wet or quick-pressurization conditions where standard dry-fit cure times are not practical. The cement bonds PVC pipe up to 6 inches in diameter and meets or exceeds ASTM D-2564 requirements. It carries NSF certification for use on potable water systems. Plumbers, irrigation contractors, and electrical conduit installers are the primary trades that reach for this product during new construction and repair work.

This cement is suited for residential and commercial PVC applications across multiple system types.
