The OATEY COMPANY 30883 is a gray, medium-bodied PVC solvent cement packaged in a 4 oz container. It is formulated for use on PVC pipe and fittings in applications including potable water, pressure pipe, gas, electrical conduit, and DWV systems. The cement bonds PVC fittings up to 6 inches in diameter on Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 pipe. Recommended application temperature is 40 degrees F to 100 degrees F. This product meets ASTM D-2564. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and electricians working on PVC piping systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
