The Oatey Sure-Vent 160 DFU Air Admittance Valve (AAV) with 2 x 3 PVC Adapter (MPN 39220) is designed to allow air to enter the plumbing drainage system when negative pressures develop in the piping system. This valve ensures that sewer gases do not escape into the building. The device closes by gravity and seals the vent terminal at zero differential pressure (no flow conditions) and under positive internal pressures.
