The OATEY 37550 is a PVC washing machine outlet box designed to recess supply valves and a waste drain connection into the wall, providing a clean, code-ready rough-in for residential or commercial laundry installations. The assembly includes two supply valves with 3/4-inch male sweat inlets and a water hammer arrestor to suppress pressure surges when valves close. Valves use a two-piece design with a stainless steel retention clip, allowing field replacement without removing the box. The box includes interlocking wing flanges and side brackets, and a knockout cap for DWV pressure testing before closing the wall.

This outlet box is suited for residential and commercial applications where supply valves and a drain connection must be recessed in the wall behind a washing machine.
