The OATEY 30753 is a clear PVC pipe primer formulated to prepare PVC pipe and fittings for solvent cementing. It removes surface dirt, grease, and grime while chemically softening the pipe surface to allow solvent cement to bond correctly. Proper priming is a required step in most PVC solvent-weld installations under plumbing codes, and this product is NSF listed to meet those standards. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters use this primer on potable water, drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems wherever PVC solvent welding is specified.

Installation Notes
