The OATEY 30750 is an NSF-listed clear primer formulated for use on all schedules and classes of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. It works by removing surface contaminants such as dirt, grease, and grime while simultaneously softening the pipe surface to prepare it for a fast, secure solvent weld. The clear finish resists staining on most surfaces and applies easily using the in-lid dauber included with each container. This primer is suited for licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems in residential and light commercial applications.
OATEY 30750 is designed for DWV pipe applications where proper surface preparation is required before solvent cementing PVC or CPVC pipe and fittings. It performs within an application temperature range of 40 degrees F to 110 degrees F, making it appropriate for most interior and sheltered exterior job conditions. The 4 oz container size is well suited for service calls, small repairs, and finish-out work where a full-quart can is not practical.
