The OATEY 30011 is a petrolatum-based paste flux formulated for copper soldering in plumbing systems. It delivers strong wetting action that promotes consistent solder flow and reliable joint formation. The flux is 100% lead-free, making it safe for use on potable water lines. It is compatible with most soft solders and is suited for both residential and light commercial applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers. The amber-colored paste applies easily with a brush or applicator and remains workable during the heating process, reducing the chance of dry joints or voids in the finished connection.

Installation Notes
