Oatey 15308 is a pipe joint compound packaged in a two-ounce tube. This compound is ideal for sealing threaded joints in a variety of plumbing applications. Its composition includes Stoddard solvent and petroleum-based oils, with a paste form allowing for easy application. It is suitable for use on aluminum, black iron, galvanized steel, brass, copper, glass, monel, and stainless steel. Oatey 15308 can handle pressures up to two hundred fifty psi for liquids and two hundred psi for air and steam. It is formulated to perform in temperature ranges from zero to three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit.
