The solid block construction eliminates separation between the bristle block and shroud. The broom ships with a 48-inch vinyl-coated metal handle measuring 1 inch in diameter, providing a firm, corrosion-resistant grip. Flagged, acid-resistant polypropylene bristles are permanently fusion-set into the block so they will not pull out during normal use.
