The NVT PHYBRIDGE NV-FLXLK-C is a Flex-C Long Reach UTP Adapter designed to extend network connectivity over existing unshielded twisted pair cabling infrastructure. This adapter bridges modern network equipment to legacy or long-distance UTP wiring runs that would otherwise fall outside standard Ethernet distance limitations. Network technicians and low-voltage installers deploy this device when structured cabling retrofits are impractical or cost-prohibitive. It fits into environments where preserving existing wire runs is the priority, eliminating the need to repull cable through finished walls or conduit.
The NV-FLXLK-C is suited for commercial and residential installations where existing telephone-grade or older UTP cabling must carry IP network traffic over extended distances. Typical applications include IP camera systems, VoIP phones, and access control endpoints in buildings where cable replacement is not feasible. It operates as a plug-in adapter rather than a rackmount device, making it practical for distributed deployment at individual endpoints or patch locations.
Designed as an OEM-style adapter for use with NVT PHYBRIDGE Flex-C series network extension systems over unshielded twisted pair cabling infrastructure.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or qualified network installer. Power down or disconnect active network ports before connecting or disconnecting the adapter to avoid interface damage. Follow applicable local low-voltage wiring codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards where required. Do not exceed the rated cabling specifications for the connected UTP infrastructure.
