The NVENT k8 is a single-piece spring steel conduit wing hanger designed to support and secure half-inch conduit and cable in overhead or structural installations. Classified as a cable and conduit clip, it accepts half-inch EMT, half-inch rigid conduit, and 12-3 MC/AC cable with a maximum outside diameter of 0.709 inches. The clip uses a wing-style spring design that installs without tools in many ceiling wire or rod hanger configurations. Electricians and electrical contractors use it for fast, code-compliant conduit and cable management in commercial and residential electrical work.
The k8 is suited for use wherever half-inch EMT or rigid conduit runs require intermediate support, or where 12-3 MC or AC cable must be secured along a run. It is commonly installed in suspended ceiling grids, open framing, and structural steel applications. Its compact footprint makes it practical in tight spaces where larger hangers or straps cannot be used. The clip fits into standard SPST hanger rod assemblies and is compatible with threaded rod suspension systems.
Designed for use with half-inch EMT conduit, half-inch rigid conduit, and 12-3 MC/AC cable up to 0.709 inches maximum outside diameter in SPST-style hanger rod suspension assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit and cable support spacing. Power down affected circuits before securing cables or conduit in an energized area. Verify that the conduit or cable outside diameter does not exceed 0.709 inches before clipping into place. Do not use this clip to support loads or conduit sizes beyond its rated capacity.
