The NVENT A48H3620GQRLP is a NEMA 4X rated fiberglass enclosure designed to protect electrical components, controls, and instrumentation in demanding environments. NEMA 4X enclosures provide protection against dust, windblown debris, rain, splashing water, hose-directed water, and corrosion, making fiberglass construction the material of choice where steel would be vulnerable to chemical exposure or high-humidity conditions. This enclosure is suited for industrial, commercial, and utility installations where environmental ingress protection and corrosion resistance are primary requirements. Licensed electricians and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers.
This enclosure is appropriate for use in wastewater treatment facilities, chemical processing plants, food and beverage production areas, outdoor electrical installations, and coastal environments where salt air accelerates metal corrosion. It houses electrical controls, terminal blocks, PLCs, drives, and similar equipment requiring a sealed, non-metallic housing.
