The Nu-Calgon 4289-03 NuLock is an anaerobic thread sealant with PTFE supplied in a 50 ml tube for sealing and locking metal threaded pipes, fittings and flange connections in HVAC/R systems. It remains liquid until isolated from oxygen and cures to a chemically cross-linked polymer that adheres to metal. Cure profile: handling 10–30 minutes, functional cure 2–4 hours, full cure 24 hours. Temperature range: -65°F to 400°F.
