The Nu-Calgon 4189-01 Freez-Therm is an inhibited ethylene glycol-based heat transfer fluid and antifreeze, supplied in a 55-gallon drum. Designed for chilled water, hydronic, and other closed systems, it features a fluorescent green/yellow dye for leak detection. This fluid incorporates an industrial-strength corrosion inhibitor, protecting common HVACR metals such as brass, copper, solder, steel, and cast iron. It functions as a complete heat transfer fluid and freeze point suppressant, ensuring system operation across varying temperatures.
