The NSI INDUSTRIES piwc-2-c is a push-in wire connector designed for fast, secure electrical connections in residential and commercial wiring applications. Rated at 600 volts and listed to UL 486C, this 2-port connector accepts solid or stranded copper wire from 22 AWG through 12 AWG. The body is molded from flame-retardant polycarbonate and houses a stainless steel spring mechanism that grips each conductor independently without twisting or taping. An integrated test port allows voltage testing without disturbing the connection. Sold in a carton of 100 connectors.
These connectors are used in junction boxes, device boxes, luminaire wiring, and control panel terminations where fast field assembly is required. The in-line, compact profile fits easily into crowded boxes and tight enclosures. Color-coded red for 2-wire applications, they are straightforward to sort and identify on the job. Suitable for copper conductors only, making them appropriate for standard residential and light commercial electrical work performed by licensed electricians and qualified electrical contractors.
Designed for use with solid or stranded copper conductors in the 22 AWG to 12 AWG range. Suitable as a push-in wire connector replacement in standard residential and commercial electrical wiring applications. Copper wire only — not rated for aluminum conductors.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any connections. Strip each conductor to the manufacturer-recommended strip length and insert one wire per port until the spring engages and the conductor is firmly held. Use the integrated test port to verify the circuit with an approved voltage tester after energizing.
