The NSI INDUSTRIES L250NB is a long-barrel copper compression lug rated for 250 MCM conductors, designed for secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical distribution and power wiring applications. The two-hole NEMA mounting configuration ensures proper alignment to standard bus bars and equipment pads. The bell-end entry guides the conductor into the barrel during installation, reducing strand damage and improving crimp integrity. This lug is intended for installation by licensed electricians working on medium-to-heavy feeder circuits in commercial, industrial, and utility service environments.
This compression lug is suited for terminating 250 MCM copper conductors at switchgear, panelboards, transformers, and large motor terminals. The long-barrel design provides additional surface area for the compression crimp, making it appropriate for installations where vibration resistance and pull-out strength are critical. It is color-coded yellow for quick conductor size identification in the field.

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conductor terminations. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning work. Use a calibrated compression tool sized and set for 250 MCM copper lugs to achieve the correct crimp — do not use an uncalibrated or undersized tool. Verify that the mounting hardware torque meets the equipment manufacturer's terminal specifications prior to energizing.
