The NSI INDUSTRIES IPLD350-10 is an insulated multi-tap connector designed for splicing and tap connections in electrical distribution systems. It accepts conductors ranging from 6 AWG up to 350 MCM, making it suitable for large-feeder and branch-circuit work where multiple conductors must be joined at a single point. The dual-sided entry design allows conductors to enter from either side of the connector body, giving electricians flexibility when routing wire in tight enclosures or junction boxes. Ten ports provide high-density connection capacity in a single fitting.
This connector is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work wherever multi-conductor tap connections are required. Typical applications include panel feeders, service entrance work, transformer secondaries, and load-center splicing. The insulated housing eliminates the need for additional taping or insulating after the connection is made, reducing labor time on the job. Electricians working under NEC guidelines will find this connector well suited to code-compliant tap and splice installations.
Designed as an OEM-style insulated multi-tap connector for use with copper or aluminum conductors in standard electrical distribution and splicing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making or disturbing any connections. Verify that all conductors are within the listed AWG-to-MCM range before seating them in the connector ports. Do not exceed the port count or force conductors larger than the maximum rated size into the housing.
