The NSI INDUSTRIES 921-S is a 1-hole steel strap designed to secure 3/4-inch EMT conduit to walls, ceilings, and structural surfaces. This type of conduit strap is a standard raceway support fitting used across residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. The stamped steel construction provides the rigidity needed to hold EMT tubing firmly in place while conforming to code-required support intervals. Electricians reach for this fitting on virtually every conduit rough-in job where EMT is the raceway of choice.
The 921-S is suited for use wherever 3/4-inch EMT conduit requires mechanical support along its run. Typical applications include branch circuit wiring in stud-framed walls, concrete block, and wood or metal structural members. The 1-hole mounting pattern allows the strap to be fastened with a single screw or anchor, making installation fast during new construction and retrofit work alike. It is commonly used by licensed electricians and electrical contractors on commercial build-outs, panel feeds, and service entrance runs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment strap for 3/4-inch EMT conduit systems in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 358 requirements for EMT support and securing intervals. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing conduit straps near live wiring. Use the appropriate fastener type for the mounting surface, whether wood screw, concrete anchor, or sheet metal screw, to ensure the strap holds conduit securely under load. Do not overtighten the mounting fastener, as this can deform the strap and cause it to bear unevenly on the conduit.
